Founded on Diane Malbin’s model, which establishes a clear link between brain function and behaviors, the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach leads to improved outcomes by building on strengths and creating individualized accommodations. Originally created to support individuals with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, the approach has been life-changing for people with all brain-based differences such as autism, ADHD, acquired brain injuries, stroke, dementia, FASD, and more. This brain-based approach fosters compassion over anger, acceptance over blame, and significantly reduces frustration, ultimately leading to better outcomes for everyone involved.
FASCETS Center for Neurodiversity is a nonprofit organization based on collaboration and mutual learning. We provide consultation, training and on-going support services that transform individuals, families, organizations and communities. Whether you are a parent, family member, caregiver, support worker, educator, or other professional, the Neurobehavioral Approach will support the people in your life and the work you do.
