WORKSHOPS
Our workshops provide information about the FASCETS Brain-Based Approach and the tools to implement it in all settings in order to create person-specific supports regardless of the source of the brain-based difference (e.g., FASD, autism, ADHD, dementia, acquired brain injuries, other diagnoses, or perhaps unknown). Some information is dedicated specifically to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder to increase awareness of the condition and dispel common myths. The workshops vary in length and can be customized.
This year-long program is designed to help people deepen their understanding of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach through immersion in the concepts of the brain-behavior connection. Small groups of up to ten participants allow for conversation, collaboration, and networking. The process fosters personal transformation that leads to effectively communicating the approach to others, whether that is through facilitating workshops or simply talking with neighbors, family, and community members.
